Cendyne DVR-105 Firmware

Has anyone updated the Cendyne DVR 105 drive with the just released firmware 1.21 from pioneer?

i have, flashed fine but i havent noticed any difference since i did

Me as well. I believe most of us are waiting on the next one, which could possibly give us 2X on such semi-generics as the Ritek G03, which still burns at 1X on my DVR-105, even with v1.21 f/w.

Until the next firmware comes along, you guys might want to try these medias http://www.allmediaoutlet.com/P-DVDR-4.7-GEN2Xfree.html. It cost $1.12 a piece but at least they work at 2x and plays on all my dvd players and PS2 also. I know its not under a buck but until something else cheap comes along I'll stay with these cause they work. By the way I'm still using the 1.0 firmware.
