  1. I'm obviously missing the ONE help/FAQ file that explains this.

I've captured several sources to raw avi, then used TMPGenc to convert to MPEG.

Nero, puts the file on the DVD OUTSIDE the ts_* folders and will not play.

DVD MovieStudio, from what I can see re-codes the file as it burns it, which is leading to poor(er) quality.

Can some kind sole/soul point me in the right direction?

Also should I not be able to get very good quality (2 hrs worth) on one DVD?

    Many thanks.

  5. I have to agree with flt123 in the fact that DVD Movie Factory is pretty much the easiest program out there and it burns practically anything you throw at it.

About the two hours of video on a DVD, the more I read the more I find out that you really can't get two hours of high quality video on a blank DVD. Is more like an hour.

I can't when I play it on a "tube" TV, but on the Toshiba projection I see a really big difference between the original conversion and the "movie factory" re-conversion.

Is there a way to "just" convert them to VOBS? Or to burn them and the process take place with the original conversion?

I've tried Nero with the original, but as of yet had zero luck, no matter what I try.javascript:emoticon('')
