My Pioneer DVD/CDRW DCR-111 will not read some dvds that I have tried.
I am trying to backup a dvd to vcd, but my computer doesn't read any disk in the drive. I have successfully backed up other dvds using this drive with no problems at all. The dvd format is "Disk format DVD9 and region code is 4/2.
The dvd is a music dvd "Hell freezes Over" by the Eagles.
PLease Help
Thanks
Dane Porter

Had the same problem with the Pioneer DVD drive in my PC. Seems they can't read some of the new D9 and DVD-R discs. I know the discs are ok cause the play in my DVD players and can be seen in my friends DVD drives.
I think we need to by a new drive.
