100% compatable burner?

hello everyone

does anyone know of a software burner that can make 100% compatable dvds? Im having trouble with playing my home made movies in dvd form on my playstation 2.

I heard good things about Gear Pro but its a little expensive for me right now. Besides i downloaded the demo and it didnt support my dvd recorder (sony dru-500a) Does anyone know of any other one that can create dvds that can play on a ps2? (im using tdk dvd-r media by the way)

I dont think that there is a 100% compatable burner yet..., but i have a Sony DRX-500UL and i used Mertline 2x dvd-r and and the dvd worked fine with my version 1 ps2. But i think that it depends on the type of media that you are using and if you are burning a exacte copy dvd or not. Im not exactly sure what the situation with home made movies is i dont think a ps2 is ment to play those. Thats for a dvd player

I have made Home movies, DVD backups on DVD+R media by Ritek, Maxell, Philips and Imation from my HP DVD200i and all played fine the PS2 its the Xbox where can't get any DVD-R or DVD+R's to play.
