    I am using an ATI TV Wonder in WinXP. Frequently when I open PowerVCRII or Virtual Dub to capture, there is no audio. To fix it I have to close the program, open ATI's MMC, then close it, then re-open the alternate capture software. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

    I dont know if this is gonna help u but it worked fine for me.
    I have Pinnacle PCtv Pro card and in Virtualdub i didnt get any sound.
    So i installed Showshifter.

    Build 1638 released on June 11, 2002
    Then Showshifter did all the settings on my machine and the only thing i have to do now before ill start up Virtualdub is to go into sound settings down in systray between the clock and enable sound on line in.
