Hi i downloaded divx3.11,divx4,divx5,i these bad for my machine,virtual dub came up with a warning when it saw i had these on my machine.

Yes, that divx3, or divx , and the "radium" fraunhofer codecs are detected by it... it's just a warning. divx is a hack of a M$ codec. (this is also why set top divx players don't support it...)

Well, I was having problems with that in the first place. Kids go "daddy, can you put whatever movie on?" but you're using the computer already to capture... Couldn't do both at once, and if you use it too once in a while to encode, then it's just too much load to really play divx on it at the same, so it will solve many issues like that...
