can anyone post me a link to a guide that would show me how to completely copy a dvd 5/9 keeping everything intact ( extras, menus etc ) onto 1 dvd-r. i know that some lengthy re-encoding will be invovled but i have the patience.
i currently have the following programmes and would prefer to use them if i can.
ifoedit
cce
dvd decrypter
dvd2dvdr
vob instant cd
any advice would be most welcome,

Assuming we are talking about a DVD over the 4.7 GB threshold all inclusive.
I don't know how that could be possible if for no other reason than the chapter points are set to a specific location (frame)on the DVD 9 Therefore, if re-encoded and compressed to fit on a DVD 5 the points would no longer be assigned to the same frame therefore useless. Just as an example of one problem, in a list of many in the proposal. As in the .ifo, .bup file ect.
Thus we DVD 9 To DVD 5 and author the film as needed to relocate the proper frame to menu point insert. If that makes any sense.
If you find a way let me know.
