Since this is 1 of 2 drives that currenty support writing DVD-Audio, I thought it might be a selling point if it actually works well. Anyone know?

DVD Audio should work with all DVD writers but you need some kind of authoring software for DVD Audio like http://www.discwelder.com/ (which is expensive). So no, that's no selling point for the HP burner.

Yep, -jsl- is right. DVD-Audio is just another DVD-Format. Maybe you've explored a Video-DVD and seen the AUDIO_TS folder. Can you imagine for what this is?!
And, ESPECIALLY no selling point for the HP burner! HP had the most trouble with the law and the industry fighting about CD-Burner charges... -
I only was confused because the DVD burners in the DVDWriters section here all have DVDAudio writing greyed out, meaning it wasn't tested. The only drive with it actually highlighted as known to be supported was the HP. So all drives can do DVDAudio?
