    i have some svcds on some cd-rs and i was wondering if it was possible to convert these to vcd, since my new dvd player cant play svcd. its an aiwa xd-ax1. do i have to rip these and re-encode? can someone please tell me how to do it...im kinda newbie at this so details will help a lot...thanks!

    Use a program to pull the video file off the SVCD, then use TMPGEnc to convert it. There should be some guides on it somewhere on this site.
