    I am new to this very informative band of brothers.
    Could anyone point me to a section that will help me convert SVCD to VCD. I have been given SVCD disks and they will not play on my DVD player. I have used the header trick to fool it but they still will not play

    Maybe try TMPGEnc with the Wizard that leads you through the complete process. Use your MPG2-files for input.
