Hi guys,
need help for this. Maybe this is something I have to correct.
Playing on my Toshiba SD-220E rewritable DVD (+RW and -RW) media (didn't try DVD-R or +R) burned with Nero 5.5.9.17 and Sony DRU500A, I get the lower half of the screen filled with green. Audio plays correctly.
I authored with SpruceUP, these are NTSC VideoCD mpeg I demultiplexed with TMPGenc (audio was converted to 48Khz .mpa) and imported in SpruceUP.
I am italian and my TV is obviously PAL, but NTSC VCD on CD-R and RW always worked. I get this problem only with DVD burned as VCD.
I'd like to know if this is a problem related to the player because I can bring it back and change it. Never tried with another player, but on my PC the DVD works fine.
Anyone can help ??
ThanX.
Tatase.

Ok, tried a little.
It was the player. DVD Mpeg1@VCD resolution supported, but played with half screen in green.
Changed it to a Sony and the same disc worked fine.
Bye.
