  1. Hi everyone,

I have just made a vcd and burnt it to disk. When I play it in my Apex AD-1100W standalone it will not play because it does't recognize the disk. After much trial and error with my other vcds I have figured out that the only vcds my standalone will not play are movies that are 23.97fps. I have used the guides on the left(the TMPGEnc conversion guide to 29.97 and the VCDGearGUI guide to convert to MPG) to no avail. Can anyone help me.

  2. You have to do a telecine. If you are doing a dvd rip. Don't use force film in DVD2AVI. And deinterlace in TMPGEnc.

  3. Are you talking about enabling the inverse telecine option in TMPGEnc when converting? When I load the movie into TMPGEnc, it is already deinterlaced.

  4. If you're using DVD2AVI don't select force film and when you bring it in TMPEG it should say it's iterlaced and it's at 29.97 frames. I have the same player and for movies that are film i convert them this way and haven't had a problem yet.
