  1. I am having problems with audio sound with divx movie. right what i have done is that i cutted the movie in half right with virtual dub. I am having problems with the second cut movie right i turned the second part of the movie into a mpeg using TMPGEnc encoder right which will go on vcd. And at the end i got a good result but the audio sound gose funny all the time with the mepg movie I play. Picture is very good but the wav sound don't go in it keeps jumping out of place i did the first cut movie well and the sound was working with it. Could anybody please help me to solve this problem? I am trying to solve the problem myself but finding hard on why it keeps doing it. I hope to hear soon. Thanks.

I find that the easiest ,quickest and most successful way of encoding and splitting is to:
Save Audio as Uncompressed Wav > Load movie and audio into TMPGE with preffered template and settings > Using Source Range determine halfway point of movie and slide slider bar to that point > click on Set End Frame > Ok .> File > Save Project (call it Moviename-1).
Then go back to Source Range > Enter info into Start Frame box (copy from End Frame box....end of part 1 is beginning of part 2) > slide slider to end of movie and click on set End Frame box) > ok > File > Save Project (call this Moviename-2)> File > Batch Encode > Add > Click on Movie-1 and Movie-2 > Run.

after a couple of times doing this its actually quite easy and the good thing is that you are encoding and splitting at the same time with the resulting movies in sync 99% of the time.

Can you give me more details on how to split in to two and encode with TMPGEnc more clearly thanks

  4. First do this to convert audio to WAV:

    Then using TMPGE:

    http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm

After you've set everything up in TMPGE,
    do this:
    Setting >
    Adavanced >
    Source Range >
determine halfway point of movie and slide slider bar to that point >
click on Set End Frame >
    Ok .>
    File >
Save Project (call it Moviename-1) >
Then go back to Source Range >
Enter info into Start Frame box (copy from End Frame box....end of part 1 is beginning of part 2) >
slide slider to end of movie and click on set End Frame box) >
    ok >
    File >
    Save Project (call this Moviename-2)>
    File >
    Batch Encode >
Add > Click on saved project files Movie-1 and Movie-2 >
    Run.

If this is hard to follow, copy and paste it into Word or notepad,or wordpad or whatever and print it off.
