  1. I make my vaction movie (55 minutes) with pinnacle Studio 8.
I have rendering the project with a bitrate from 8000kbs, (dvdr+) the best dvd quality.
But I can not play my dvd vacation movie on my standalone player. (pioneer DCS-303)
I can play the vacation dvd on my dvd player from my computer.
How is this possible, is the bitrate to High ?
    Who knows the solution!

    Thank you

Have you checked the compatability section to the left? check your dvd player it may only accept + or - r/w discs or certain brands may not work

  3. Your DVD player is listed as DVD+R compatible.

So try a different brand of disc, different burning software etc.

  4. What do you mean by "I can not play my dvd vacation movie on my standalone player" ? Does it give you any error message ? I burned 77min video (b.r. 7000, MPEG sound) and it works fine on my players.

There is not a merror message, but afther 15 minutes the movie and sound quality are terrible, and my standalone player stops with playing.

I read in the forums that a lot of standalone ( expensive) players has a problem with high bitrates >8000kbs.
I made my movie with a bitrate 8000kbs.
