problems ripping Spongebob Squarepants DVD

hey all.

I can Rip/backup my other DVDs fine, but when it comes to Spongebob, the MPEG files are choppy in audio. Video is fine.

Other people seem to have this same problem.

The software that I use is DVD copy plus 4.0, which comes with SmartRipper, DVDx, and CDRwin/

I noticed that the .VOB files are intersperced (sp) throughout the CD.

I don't suppose this is particularly helpful for your question, but I made a SVCD collection of this series for the kids using TV caps. With the short episodes being easy to encode at high quality and the inherent simplicity of animation video I doubt the DVDs could be much better in quality.
