I am about to buy myself a new camcorder and have decided on a Sony Mini-DV model. As of now i have only looked around on different ones like the DCR-PC101 or the DCR-TRV50 and noticed that these two have a different CCD pixel gross. The 101 has (according to Sony) 690k effective pixels and the TRV50 has 970k.
I am going to use my camcorder for two things: regular filming (with one important interview project) and passthrough converting of old VHS tapes and any other analog devices like television.

Now my questions are...
- Does any of the specifications noted by Sony on their camcorders effect the quality of the pass-through conversions?
- How much does the CCD quality of these two camcorders (or any other newer models like the DCR-TRV25) affect the output quality when i later on put these in, lets say DV AVI format on my computer? Will i notice any differences?

I can buy all these three models (TRV50, TRV25 and PC101) in Sweden where i live, but the 50 model has a Bluetooth function and will set me back about 500 dollars. It has higher CCD values and all that but is it really worth the extra money? What is Bluetooth used for when using a camcorder that the firewire doesn't do better (except for wireless transfer)?

Does anyone have experiance with the PC101? Is it difficult to hold and film with?

Thanks alot! Any replies are greatly appreciated.
