  1. Ok I converted my .avi file to a .mpg, sound and video look great on my computer. It's 4.06gig big, and i want to burn this onto a dvd+r disc to play on my standalone player.....Now what?

Is there just a program I can use to burn this baby onto a +R or +RW to play on my dvd player?

I'm not interested in menu's and all that crap, just the movie.

p.s. Would a +RW disc play in a standalone dvd player.....we just got our dvd player and it has tons of features, so im pretty sure it'll play quite a bit of formats..

    Thanks in advance

Look at our guides here and find the guide for burning a DVD w/o menus with IFO edit.

  4. It sounds like you got a DVD+R/+RW writer. If so it may have a NeoDVD software included. If not, any authoring software like Ulead Move Factory...to burn it to a DVD +R or DVD +RW. Those media can play on most of stand alone DVD player. Read this site carefully, it shows you almost anything you need to know.
