How Do I put a DIVX on cd and make it work on my dvd player?

Can some please explain or give me a guide on how to make my divx movies work on my dvd player but i have to put these movies on a cd r so i can watch them

what if the audio isn't ac3 and its Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec wat process do i hvae to go through to make it a dvd to play on my dvd player,

I'm not exactly sure what you wanna do, but from the sound of it, you have some
divX clips and you want to play them through your DVD player. Can't be done,
unless you have a divX player ie, KISS player. And, they only play v4.xx or
v5.02 and on, NOT v3.11

If you mean to convert the divX to a VCD or SVCD, then your post SUBJ needs
to be revised to say so. But, in reading it, one would believe you are
trying to play divX through you DVD player. Anyways..

If you want to play divX on a player, you will have to buy one, like the
KISS player.. plays divX v4xx and greater/VCD/SVCD/DVD and costs approx $400
or more buck$.
You wont find a player that will play divX v3.11 files.. for obvious reasons.

The KISS player (and others) might not be what you want. Search threads about all the previous threads on it before you buy one (if you plan to anyhow).

As for VCD, you might not like it, and SVCD might be too blocky, or store no enough time per disc, and as far as CVD goes, I like it better, but I think it's somewhat less compatible. You have to see what your DVD player will play.

Else you can always use a PC to play divx... Like many people have been doing for quite a while... lol

It's all compromises, but it's up to you to see what annoys you the least I guess.
