I have a lot of videos that i added subs with AVIAddXSubs to play them on ps3
I dont have many of the subs anymore in srt and i need to make these videos playable, with subs in wdtv.
I couldn't find a way to extract the subs and somehow convert them to srt or any wdtv compatible format, nor a way for wdtv to play them as is--which would be the best!
    pls help
    thx!

  2. I have the same issue. I sent an email to the author of AviAddXSubs. He said he wasn't aware of any way to demux the subs from the .divx file. Obviously stand-alone dvd .divx players can play them, but apparently they are not publishing the nuts and bolts of how it works. What I've been doing is making a .divx with the subs using AviAddXSubs and holding onto the .srt files. For playing on WD I put the subs in the same folder. Eventually the WD should start supporting more subtitle formats. Seems like subs are always the fly in the ointment.
