    well i ripped a movie from dvd, and its in mpeg2 format, its 2 hours and 15 minutes long, when i was encoding it with tmpgenc it said that it would fit on dvd-r.
    but i tried to burn it with sonic mydvd and it won't let me, is there any other program i should try?

    file is 3.22 gb

  2. well if it says it won't fit on a dvd you prob need to lower the birate...

  4. Did you take into account the audio? IIRC, MyDVD converts the audio to 48khz, 16bit, stereo WAV file, IOW 1483.15 MB for a 2:15:00 long movie.
