hi i am a newbie to the world of video etc ... can anyone help with suggestions on how i can get vcd recordings where the sound/synch is not out of balance ??? i notice when capturing the video the picture and sound are not smooth and stable but when i play back the recording/capture the picture is fine but the soundtrack is not lined up correctly . i am using a 600 mhz pentium 3 + 128 ram ... i had a brief look at tmg but it looks too techy ... desperate ..

Emohara,
1. What are you using to capture your video(Software and Hardware) ?
2. Do you compress the caputured movie directly to mpeg 1 with your caputer card or convert it later with other sofware ? -
hi and thanks for your reply
1 - i am using a pinnacle pctv pro
2 - the few attempts i have made to record captured short video pieces to vcd i have used nero for ther job , i have downloaded a tmpgenc but i am sure i will find using that very difficult without further instructions and guides . any other suggestions would be most appreciated .
