    Is there a way to convert MPEG-1 from wide screen to full screen and keep the proper ratio. When I do it I get a distorted video. Any assistance would be appreciated. Merry Christmas

    you can't do it and get the correct ratio, because widescreen is a different (and larger) ratio to fullscreen.

    the only way to do it is to add borders top and bottom so the movie appears correctly.
