I have ripped it but when i encode it in TMPGenc it makes it 4:3 istead of 16:9? how do i fix this?

load your TMPGENC template
press "setting"
on the "advanced" tab..
on "source aspect ratio" select "16:9"
on "video arrange method" select "full screen (keep aspect ratio)"
this will encode your file with borders top and bottom.
