How do i edit dvd subs (ex. .sup (using ifoedit) )

how do i edit a subtitles or add subtitles to/on a dvd??????????????
i'm using ifoedit for all the stuff of authoring

I really want to had subtitles to my family VHs (converted) so for foreign movies...please help me

i use subtitle workshop and subsync. i only tried to edit the subtitles i got from sites, not from dvds yet.

well if you download VobEdit it will make .sup files for ifoedit you can load into it.
