    I have joined 3 svcd files together, the problem is that the total size of the joined file is 2.3 gb. When i try to view the file with power player I can only move the slide control to about 1hr 3min. I have tried other 3 disk svcds and same problem. When I then try to convert the file to dvd-r it only does 1hr 3min . The file system I use is ntfs. Any ideas as I know it is something to do with the size of the file.

    How did you join the files? If you just merged it with a DOS copy, processing stops at the end of the first part.
    How long is the entire video? Maybe the first 1h 3min make up 1 GB and your software has a 1 GB file size limit? I think that's why you get several 1 GB VOB files when you rip a DVD.
