I'm getting some audio drop out in the dvdr I burned. It's not too bad but still noticeable. I didn't use PCM audio, I used the other one(MP2 I think?)so I could fit more video on the disc. I'm not sure if this is normal or what because this was the very first dvd I burned. I used TMPGEnc to do coverting and editing and Ulead movie studio to do the authoring. Any feedback is appreciated.

i have seen this audio drop out myself. it would lose some volume then return shortly, i soon realized that the original file had the drop off. so it may not be anything you are doing. check the file from your pc with a media player. if its already got the audio problems, try to find another copy of your file.

It may also be due to a minor incompatibility beween the media and your DVD player. I find with mine when using cheap media the audio tends to glitch (crack, pop etc) more than video skips and pauses. Using better quality media tends to improve things.
