  1. Hi i got a Divx movie with DD 5.1 Sound and i want to burn it to DVD. I have extracted a wav file with virtual dub and i dont know what to do knox i don't know how to convert it with besweet. it doesnt work, i took the tutorial in this forum. but when i clicked on wav to ac3, nothing happened. Or is it so fast? (2 sec) i dont think so.
the video is now prob. i only want to have 5.1 DD on this dvd.

  3. You don't have to use BeSweet, in fact if you use it, you will end up with a Dolby Surround not a 5.1 soundtrack. Currently i'm at work, but i know there is a little program (headac3 or something like that) that removes the header of a wav and put your audio ready to burn (you can use ifoedit or Spruce Up).. The process doesn't take much long (only the disk writing time)[/list]

  4. If you want to preserve the DD 51, soundtrack all you have to do is extract it with virtualdub as you have. I would then suggest running it though a little command line program called ac3fix.exe. This will remove any errors or bad frames. You can then import int into any DVD authoring program that accepts Ac3 files and .m2v video files.

Porocessing it with Headac3he will reduce ti to stereo wav format and you will lose the 5.1 channels as Mercury0660 said.

  5. Bugster is right, the right program is ac3fix. My only line of defense is that i was far from house, but it's not excuse...

Well, get a faster PC then, especially a faster disk system (raid, scsi) as in my experience, Spruce does not run a 100% cpu, or anything like it whilst compiling.
Also from my experience, other DVD authoring programs take similiar amounts of time, Spruce is not especially quick or slow, so your only options that I can think of are a faster PC or more patience.

but i got a P4 2,53, 512 MB DDR 333 and an IBM 120GB HD with UDMA 133. I think tihs doesnt have to take so lang like it was.
