    HELP ME!!!! I have a Phillips DVD711 and I can not play VCDs on my DVD Player. When I put in a VCD, such as Jurassic Park 3, I get a picture, but my TV does a vertical scroll and the color is only black and white.

    do I need a firmware for this model or something? Please tell me what I can do to fix this problem.

    you have a pal formated vcd and a ntsc tv you will need to take the dat file form the vcd wwand converted to ntsc and reburn the cd
