    hai friends

    we are looking for the BESTquality VCD output for converting beta to VCD PAL..so pl suggest .IS THERE any component output for making vcd instead of usual S-VIDEO
    quality is the main issue then possible in real time or just over realtime

    i use a dps capture card which has component in/out.
    Other cards you could use are component to DV transcoders , targa 3000, video toaster, and a few others ...

    this is the best VCD u can get. i think it's aslmost as good as SVCD.
    i use ATI TV VE and Capture with IUVCR then Convert to VCD in tmpg using 1200 CBR at High Qualiy. Need a lot of disk space.
