  1. All the DVD movies play, the only problem was my backup of lord of the rings special extended version: the menus freeze up on my standalone. Dunno if that is a function of the media or not.

Of the cheap 2x media, which do you all like? I have a Pioneer A05 burner and a DVD-343 standalone DVD player. So far I have been using the 2x Princo with mixed results.

  6. This media sucks. It's only 1x on my A05 firmware 0.5X (I forget what # is in the X value).

It really steams me because their "tech" department assured me they will work 2x in my drive. RRRRRRR!

Where can I buy 2x Ritek media that will burn @ 2x in the Pioneer A05?

The Ritek G3's (P's or 7's) work perfectly in my pioneer 343 and C503D.

    i got them from www.supermediastore.com

They burn 2X on my a04, dunno about your A05.
