Whenever I capture with VirtualDub, I get a little popping sound with the audio. I'm pretty sure I have my audio cable going to my line in, and I have line in checked in my sound control panel. I get audio playback through my computer speakers when capturing, but AVI file has a little crackle sound to it. I'm at a loss to figure this one out

I just did a test, I captured in Ulead Video Studio, saved the AVI file, and I have the same little popping sound in the audio I did before. So I guess it's not just Virtual Dub, but what it is I just can't figure. I also just switched soundcards, and it still does it!!! In case anyone is wondering, I'm using the ATI All In Wonder 7500. I'm starting to think its this card since this problem is happening with 2 different sound cards and 2 different programs
