First have you run the install.bat file that is in the filters directory of the Virtual VCR application?
Have you tried another appliaction to see if your tuner is working
with the wdm drivers ok (like iuVCR) ?
WHen you click on Devices > TV tuner do you see your tuner
dialog appear? If so is it set for your area?
Further information on setup and configuration is available from:

yes...I used the install.bat file and it registered all the files fine.
I have not tried IUVCR yet...
The tuner dialog appears, and I even did a channel scan...BUT...It has a seeting for country....and it was filled with "61".
i looked for some text file to help with filling in all the correct values and could not find it...Did I miss it somewhere??? Like NTSC_M or M_J...and tuning space...With no help file, I am at a loss for what these do...
BTW..I am in the US
thx

If you want a one page solution I can't help you as I have not
got the time to load the software, then write out a list of settings
to suit you. If you want to ask questions I can help. Up to you. -
Fair Enough-
I dont have the program in front of me but the two I do remember are this:
What is the country code for the US?? (current default is 61)
Should I put anything in Tuning Space?
thx...Mark -
I figured it out...at least part....
Country Code must be set to 1..
had to guess as I could not find that info anywhere..
still no sound...but working on it...

I am back at Virtual VCR again.
I still can not get any sound.
I am using an Audigy sound card and all my other capture apps have worked fine.
Any hints??
thx

have you tried the tweaked drivers for this card? i found two that i have been playing around with for the past week or so. they allow you to capture in a higher resolution, however you will not get to use the winfast pvr app that came with the card (not sure if you want to be able to or not). i personally like a lot of features on the winfast, and wish some of the others (virtual vcr, iuvcr) had them. i especially like the remote, which is un-usable with the tweaked drivers. the more recent of the tweaked drivers is at http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/. send me an email, or pm me. i'd like to share leadtek tv2000xp deluxe experiences with you. later.
