Does dvd 5 discs have the same capacity as a dvd-r
I have seen several different quotes on exact storage capacity

Yes I'm 99.9% sure they do.. Both are 4,700,000,000 bytes which translates to 4.27gb(?) or maybe it was 4.37gb?
But anyway the answer is yes...

it is 4.37 GB's, and it says it on any blank DVD-/+ you purchase. Be careful not to confuse the computer world equivalent of 4.7 GB's..with the DVD World, or you will definitely have coasters.

Your burning software should tell you... if it doesn't, use nero cuz it does
