Smart Ripper, DeCSS, DVDx, DVD Decrypter and almost everything i can find that will rip my .vob to my h/d the audio becomes nothing but static but when i play the dvd on my pc dvd-rom the audio is perfect and i was wondering is this some kind of encryption on this DVD to prevent DVD copying? the DVD is the Korn - Live dvd that was recently put out. Any help would be great.

  2. are you playing the vob files you ripped directly with winDVD/powerDVD? sometimes, doing that winDVD/poewrDVD will play wrong audio track (i.e. foreign track or director's commentary) instead of the regular track... you need to encode the vobs into mpg

static?? oh..heh, i thought u were playing the vobs directly.... usually, it's just silence, not static. but, in this case, only track 2 has dolby digital, which dvd2avi can decode
