Richo MP5125A and Prassi Primo DVD Incompatability Problems

I have bought a Richo DVD+RW/+R rewriter, and i have tried to install Prassie Primo DVD to my computer, as all the topics on DVD backup seem to use it.
But when i do instal it, it comes up as my rewriter is not reconised, can anyone help me in getting this problem sorted as i am new to all this and to be frank, i am pulling my hair out trying to get to grips with the guides on this site.
Please Please someone HELP ME...........

try getting the latest firmware from ricoh or even an update for prassi primo

i have tried from richo and also from prassi main but to no avail. it is really becoming hard now as it seems to be a better program than nero.
if you can help or know anyone that has had same problem please tell.

Your need to update Prassi Primo DVD with the newest “Px Engine”. This engine manages Device Recognition. I checked the posted compatability list and your drive is listed. You can download the newest Px update from http://www.prassieurope.com/

Select "Download Px Engine"

at lasy i might be able to sort my copy of prassie out now but have to wait till i get back off xmas leave.
