  1. PLz help me out.. I get this message
    "Illegal floating decimal point calculation order"
    every time I try to encode my "cast away" divx to svcd...

    And every time it's at the same point. 17%

    Anyone with suggestions to what I can do??

    I encoded with the following specs:

    Video: MPEG-2 480*576 25fps CQ 54-bitrate 1650,
    Audio: MPEG-1 Layer-2 44100Hz 128kbps

    i used motion estimate search.

  2. your DivX has a bad frame(s) do one or all of these

    1) try DivFix (see the tools section on the left)
    2) remove the bad frames (there is a how to on Doom9.org)
    3) use Panasonic MPEG Encoder which will plow right on through bad frames
