    I am having trouble determining MPEG compliancy with the standard.

    Is there a software that will show me the characteristics of a given MPEG file ??

    I know that VCDeasy has a check to show compliancy but I would like to see if there is something standalone.

    I am having trouble with a few VCD's and want to check to see if it is the MPEGs themselvers.

    Bitrate viewer will give you quite a bit of information on the MPEG.
