I have a Karaoke VCD (?) that I'd like to make a backup copy of, but all of the recording software that I've used seems to choke on this cd. I've tried CloneCD (error reading track 0), Nero, Alcohol 120 and so on, all of which seem to be giving me some read errors.

I'm not very experienced with Karaoke VCD, so this may or may not actually be one (it says something about karaoke for multi vcd player on the cd). The sound is definitely midi, and although there are thousands of songs on the cd, there's only one video that repeats over and over. When I take a look at the contents of the cd, there are 4 .img files (midi.img, moving.img and two others that I can't recall).

Does anybody know what kind of Karaoke CD this is and do you have any pointers on how I can make a backup copy?
