Input:
720x480(.9 aspect) MPEG-2 system file (.m2p) at 8000 CBR
Output:
(desired)
Microsoft DV .AVI file
Problem:
When I use DVD2AVI to convert the MPEG-2 to AVI, the only AVI compressors available are DiVX, MPEG-4, and Uncompressed. I've got plenty of other VfW / system codecs, including Microsoft DV, the one that I'd really like to use. Any ideas on how to get this to show up / work?
Side note:
I've heard if I get AviSynth I might be able to go straight from a .d2v project to saving a DV .avi in Premiere or something... But I thought that the frameservers were mostly to go the other way (Premiere output ---> MPEG encoders, etc.). Any ideas / links to tutorials?
Thanks guys.
