I've tired to open up an mpeg 1 file in my .avs Avisynth script file using the DirectShowSource("filename") command but when I try to open up the script file in an app like Nandub or Media Player I just get an error message saying "Unrecognized Exception", "line 1 of the script file". I can get it to open avi files ok just not anything with the DirectShowSource command. Anyone have any ideas please ?
Media Player can open the mpeg file in question so surely Avisynth should be able to since it uses the same DirectShow call . . .[/code]
