I've been using VirtuaDub to capture via my video in input on my G400Tv with good results. Now I am capturing using the TV tuner, but am having problems using the PC-VCR remote as I can't join the segmented AVI's together neatly...there is a noticable 'seam' when I compress and join the files - is there a way round this using this software. I have used frameserving in virtuaDub with AVI's with good results, and tried to set-up my TV tuner to capture through VirtuaDub, but virtuadub always want to use the video in input - I can't find a way to change this.
Can anyone help?
Cheers

You should be able to select the video source in VirtualDub. Unfortunately, as I don't use it for capturing, I can't remember where. I think it's under the Video tab....perhaps source or input.
If you can't get that to work, grab a copy of AVI_IO which provides a much simpler interface. It's multi segment captures are perfectly compatible with VirtualDub so you can use AVI_IO for the capture and then edit with Virtual_Dub. ( That's what I do anyway.)

Selecting the video source in vdub, choose tv tuner...
You must make sure there are signals going through first.
