how did you turn your avi into an mpg. that is where your problem lies. give us the steps you took or did roxio do it for you. I suggest using mulitple steps like using vdub - tmpgenc- then burn.

  3. Im a little confused with terminology but let me try step by step...first i had to click on video impressions....then find the avi that i wanted to change ...then add to storyboard then play movie...then save as mped-vcd pal 352x288(*.mpg) then after about a half hour it was saved as that..but when i thought i could go ahead and copy I previewed the movie first and thats when i noticed the sound and video were not in sync..I hope i answered your question

  4. to add to my last comment I really dont want to have to download any other additional programs for this because I had just spent quite a bit of money just on this roxio program.

From experience you would be best to do the following:-

    1. Capture your video as you normally do.

    2. Edit the footage - titles etc - and save as AVI.

    3. Use the FREE TMPEnc encoder (found under links) to encode to PAL MPEG VCD.

    4. Then use that mpeg to burn as VCD.

    Hope this helps.

It would deem that that is the only version that can be downloaded, so yes.
