  1. Trying to use virtualDub to frame serve a move in order to turn it to vcd. I've read the how to. The only problem is that when I point TMPGEnc to the dummy file I get no audio. and when I use virtual dub to get the audio from the Xvid and encode it along with the dummy file the audio is off. Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there a reason I am not getting the orginal audio from the xvid?

  2. get a progam called gspot to check the codecs if its xvid with mp3 as you stated download avi2vcd and decompress the avi with the decompresser that is found in avi2vcd .you cant rip the wave using virtua dub because the audio is compressed that is why its outta sync. after you decompress it tmpgenc will encode it fine
