DVD Maestro Problem - disc reset after chapter 2

Hi Everyone!

I have a strange problem. All the discs i have authered using DVD Maestro seem to reset back to the begining when the movie goes from chapter 2 to chapter 3 (and also at a later chapter). It is consistent through all of the 3 discs i have made with maestro so far. A disc that was a dvd-5 which i just ripped and burnt and not even touched with maestro works fine though. This happens on all the standalone players i try my discs on, but not my pc software player.

Im following all the popular maestro tutorials and am burning with nero (latest version). I also use traxdata dvd-r's. I did notice however i am not doing the ac3 sync thing mentioned in another tutorial i just read - could that be it?

I would appreciate any ideas and help!

what are you doing to set the chapters?

I use chapter extractor -> output to maestro and it works perfectly.

In the conections setting, what to you have the end action of the chapter set to?

After your done authoring hit alt-c to compile, then alt-d to create a disc image. Burn that .img file with your burning app.

Maestro includes pre mastering tools to burn correctly to a DVD-R.

I use chapter extractor to get the chapters, and also i checked the connections, all of which have nothing in them. The disc plays perfectly on my software dvd player on my pc.

DVD Maestro doesnt work with my pioneer 105, so thats why i use nero, however i burnt a straight rip of a DVD-5 disc which works perfectly.

Im gonna try using ifoedit to master the dvd, and also try the audio sync in dvd maestro to see if that helps!
