I have a Sanyo DWM400 DVD player. It is suddenly not responding when I turn it on. It won't open/close the tray, and once it's on, I can't turn it off either. I tried unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for a while and nothing. I opened it up and nothing looked wrong inside... I had read that some times the capacitors blow their tops in this model.
I was hoping that I could do some kind of reset on it. Anyone know how?

A typical reset is just unplugging the unit for 30+ minutes.
Sounds like your player has died. You could take it to a repair shop, but it is likely cheaper to just replace it.Google is your Friend -
By the way... I think you are right. I gave up on the unit. I am now in the market to purchase a new DVD player.
