Hi all - ripped Region 2 "Phantom Menace" VOBs to disk, but I've found that after creating necessary IFOs with IfoEdit, and then trying to play the resulting files in Power DVD (to ensure all is well before I burn), I get the standard opening titles in the film ("A long Time Ago...", "Star Wars", "Episode 1.....") etc., but then I get the same set of titles in Spanish, then Italian! Wonderful for learning the languages but not so good for watching the film.
Do you guys know of an easy-ish way out? I guess editing the video is possible, but I wondered if playing around with IFOs could be the answer...
All replies gratefully received and awaited with bated breath!

This movie (like episode 2) is multiangle, that's why you get all the different languages. I recently ripped ep2 and had the same problem as I forgot to set dvddecrypter to rip only angle 1 (english). The solution was using IFOEDIT to strip the other angles from the ifo file. It's pretty easy... just fire up IFOEDIT and read through the options. I did find a guide for it though at doom9 so check that out (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-multiangle.htm)
Good luck, Jack -
Thanks for that - I'll give it a go and maybe try grabbing the .VOBs again -didn't realise that bit about multi-angle - Mind you, I ripped AOTC as well t'other day and I think that came out ok (best check though, eh?).
Thanks again,
Wc.
