After ripping a DVD, I created a CVD compliant stream(mpeg-2, 352 x 480, 44.1khz, 224kbps) which was created from tmpgenc. From what i've read this is supposed to be DVD compliant, however DVD studio pro will not accept the file. Does anyone know of another authoring program for the mac that will accept CVD mpeg-2 streams?

CVDs are only VIDEO compliant (and only if you use a DVD GOP stucture)
The audio, needs upsampling from 44100 to 48000 (the standard for DVD).
Also, the mpeg 2 to be acceptable, needs to be muxxed as mpeg 2 VBR and not mpeg 2 VBR SVCD
