MKVs remuxed by MKVmerge are not accepted by my Seagate player. The same files will play in my WD player but they take longer to load than HD MKVs made with MakeMKV or HD Fab. So there is something about MKVMerge that my players don't like. Is there another easy to use remuxing program? To make sure It was MKVMerge that was the problem I demuxed an HD MKV that did play into it's video and audio components and just remuxed them.
and....the remuxed version didn't play.
Any thoughts?

Since my original post I have tried most of the versions of MKVToolNix with the same result. The resulting MKV takes about 15 seconds to load in my WD player( normal is 1-2 seconds) but the MKV plays just fine once loaded.
However, my Seagate Fat+ doesn't have the patience to wait for loading.. it just freezes up. I tried AVI demux without success.
There is no problem with the demuxing it's just that the remuxing file for MKV toolNix (MMG.exe) causes problems for me.
As I mentioned originally I did take a working MKV file and without changing anything in the file just ran it thru MMG.exe and the new file didn't work
Am I doing something wrong or are there settings in the program that I am unaware of?
