  1. just a quick question.

i did all the steps according to the dvd2dvdr guide and it all worked great. except i burned it to a dvd+r using nero. now the dvd works fine when i play it with powerdvd on my pc but it will not play in windows media player, interactual player, or my playstation 2 (which was my main goal.) can anyone tell me what i possibly did wrong. i'm almost positive it was in the settings or something.

  2. Not positive, but I don't think Ps2 supports DVD+r at all.
not sure why it won't play in the others...did you author with Ifoedit?? if so did you perform a "Get VTS Secotrs" command to correct any differences?

  3. before i burn the dvd, i tested the vob files with all the dvd players i had on my pc and they all worked. once i burned it to a dvd+r powerdvd was the only one willing to play it. and yes, ps2 supports it, or at least that's what i read in the player compatability list on this site.

  4. ok, i just read that in order for it to work on the ps2 you have to burn it as DVD UDF/ISO in nero. hopefully that works and i don't waste another dvd+r.

Quick tip: ALWAYS Burn UDF/ISO in Nero for DVDs.

I've never had a problem doing it, EVER, but plent have had problems because of not.
