Hey guys, I was trying to capture with Virtual dub but it gave me that error when I try to go anything higher then the resolution 320x240. I have a leadtek winfast tv2000xp capture card. If I use the winfast app, I can record at any resolution. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance

hello. i just bought the same card, and tried the same program, virtualdub, and had the same error. after doing some searching, i found that virtualdub just cannot capture NTSC higher than that with this card. there is a guy who has tweaked the chipset drivers (www.iulabs.com), and also programmed an alternative digital vcr program. i tried his "tweaked" drivers last night, but did not get them to work. maybe you will have more luck. i wasn't sure which driver to use. you download his driver, go to device manager to update the current winfast driver, load his driver file, and it brings up several drivers to choose from. i tried a few, but never got it to work. maybe you'll have more luck. give it a shot, and email me if you get it to work. with those drivers and his vcr program, another guy with the same card was getting great results. hope this helps, email or PM me if you find anything out.
